The Committee on Environment and Social Responsibility

The Committee on Environment and Social Responsibility was established by the Board of Directors in March 2005 to:

Identify challenges germane to direct marketing companies being good corporate citizens, and
Influence DMA members to make progress on these challenges over a reasonable period of time.

The Board directed the Committee to focus on the environment as one of its initial challenge areas in which to encourage DMA members to make continual improvement. The Committee’s focus areas are expected to evolve with time.
